Good evening everyone,
Our spirit week was so much fun, but unfortunately the festivities pushed our schedule back a bit. The Nicene Creed Quiz we were scheduled to take on Friday, February 1st will now be on Monday, February 4. Due to the two week notice to study, (we have been preparing for this quiz since January 18) you should do just fine! After we take our quiz on Monday we will review for our Chapter 11 test which is on Tuesday, February 5. The dates have already been adjusted on the class calendar. Remember to check the board daily, and write all the week's assignments down in your planners on Monday during class to stay ahead of the game! As usual, we will not have class on Wednesday due to class mass. Thursday we will be doing an activity, and on Friday we will talk about the history of Lent and we will all sign a pledge stating what we will do as sacrifice for the upcoming Lent season. It's been a while...
Good morning everyone,
I do apologize for not getting back to this blog until now. In Religion we have been reviewing the Holy Mass in great detail. Each of the students were given a two page front and back packet that has the entirety of the Mass within it. They are to keep these until exam time. On Friday, January 25 the children are to recite the Gloria to me for a quiz grade. On Friday, February 1 the children are to recite the Nicene Creed for a quiz grade. This week we will be focusing on the Bible itself and the books within it. The children will know how many books the entire bible has, how many are in the new testament, how many are in the old testament and we will also break it down in other ways as well.
